We have new time and room: Mondays will be 5:30-7:30PM, Saturdays will be 12:30-2:00PM. Our room will be at the Banquet Hall on the third floor.

Dates for September 2019 – August 2020

• Family Day Weekend: No Classes on February 15th (Sat) and 17th (Mon)
• Easter Weekend: No Classes on April 11th (Sat) and 13th (Mon)

If you are joining us for the first time, make sure to bring in a copy of the new Registration Form filled out and your fee to the first class you attend

We are sport fencing club based in Burnaby, BC. We are located at the Bonsor Recreation Centre, east-side of Metrotown Mall. The club has members of all ages and skill levels.

We have classes on Saturdays and Mondays. Saturdays are held in a ground floor at the Fitness Studio. It is starting from 10:45am to 12:30pm. Mondays are held in the back gym downstairs and it is from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

As a beginner you just need comfortable clothes, including long gym pants and running shoes. The club has all the other gear you will need. For experienced fencers we have electric scoring equipment. We all, however, contribute to carrying, setting up, and cleaning up the equipments.

During our Saturday classes, we begin with a warmup and stretching. We then do some group footwork practice. After the warmup, the electric machines are setup by the experienced fencers and we fence each other. The coaches will give one-on-one lessons with both new fencers and experienced ones.

The Monday classes are longer so there is a longer warm up and fencing time.
